HEAR Demonstration Night

 

A couple of weeks ago, our homeschool group had Demonstration Night.  The evening was filled with precious little ones singing, skits, harp playing, etc.  These are a few pictures our HEAR leaders took of the kiddos and their friends.

 

 

 

 Bryce and Aubree did a skit about Jesus calling His disciples, mainly how they left their full nets of fish to follow Him.  Bryce had the speaking part and Aubree the acting part.  She was nervous, but she seemed to warm up to the crowd pretty quickly.  :))

 
A friend from church asked if Bryce and Aubree wanted to participate with them on Valentine's Day singing/playing the piano at a local nursing home.  They shared a few of those songs during Demonstration Night.  They sang "Doggy in the Window",

 

"Oh Playmate, Come Out and Play with Me",

(The girls sang and the boys whistled.)

 

 

and ended with "Take Me Out to the Ballgame."

Fall Festival

 
     Gone are the years of cute toddler pictures from Fall Festivals.  But they are still cute.  :)
     Aubree "dressed up" as a soccer player.  Bryce couldn't figure out what to call himself - I said "athlete," but he said he wasn't that dedicated.  So, he decided he was an excerise person.  As a Boy Scout, he now helps with setting up, doing games and cleaning up which he enjoyed very much.

Birthday Girls

 

Aubree and I both celebrate our birthdays in September. 

We celebrated Aubree's with a Family Day on Wednesday.  We started at the Museum of Life and Science. 

 

 We had a day full of playing, eating and shopping!!

We ended the day finishing Aubree's chocolate pie from Mama Lou.  She asked for 1 candle to blow out.  Her dad put 9 candles in her piece of pie.  And Bryce had the pleasure of lighting them for her.

 

 

I cannot believe our baby girl is 9 years old.

Happy 4th of July!!

Happy Birthday To My Boys

Happy Birthday to the boys in my life. 

I count it all joy God has blessed me with a godly husband and my children with a godly father.  (Newman's birthday is Friday.) 

I count it all joy for our son Bryce.  Today he celebrates his 11th birthday.  What a joy to watch him grow in the Lord - I love watching him learn and learning with him.

My heart just overflows........

Bryce made a car out of the materials he found in the Make It, Take It Room. He kept wondering how long he had left.

Aubree took until the last second to finish her horse.

It was great to see the imaginations of all the kids as they used all the different materials available.
