Awesome Video of Tribe Receiving Bible

The Kimyal Tribe of Papua, Indonesia receive their first copy of the New Testament in their own language. Our pastor shared this on his blog and then showed it in church - I cried both times. I can hardly put in words how I felt about the video - convicted, ashamed, in awe, humbled, blessed - just to name a few. What makes this video more special is the book called From Akebu to Zapotec. It is published by Wycliffe Bible Translators. Bryce and I have read it for school and now Aubree and I are reading it. The book takes people groups from around the world and shows a picture and a quick glimpse into their life. Each of the 26 descriptions end with the following: "The ________ people do not have a Bible in their own language." Then, we pray for that people group to have a Bible. This video shows the ANSWER to those prayers. Finally, I was reminded that Jesus is the Word - so when we have The Word, we have Jesus. He is with us. Praying this blesses you today!!

In my heart today, I bow before Calvary’s cross to give thanks for the…….
Thorns that tore through the brow of the Savior while His
Hands held fast to Roman wood in a beautiful
Anthem of praise to the Father. And now, because of this
Nail-pierced faith, I can understand a little of what the
Knowledge of the Holy means. It is especially now that I am reminded of the
Servant’s total sacrifice, which made it possible to receive His
Grace-delivered forgiveness. His
Incredible act of love gives a
Vivid view of heaven where the King of Kings is still
Interceding for us, so that
Nothing keeps us silent to His voice or disobedient to His call to
Go tell the store of new life in Christ forever.
